In this module, I’ll be talking about newsletters, which are a great way to convert average followers into highly engaged supporters, customers or donors. Newsletters are statistically proven to be the number one way to lock in somebody as a customer. By signing up for a newsletter, people willingly say that they want more of you, which is a huge opportunity. I will discuss how to have a funnel that goes from the first encounter with your content to signing up for your newsletter and becoming an engaged supporter. I will take you through what a funnel can look like and then ask you to think about building your own. I will also explain how to embed the ability to sign up within your content strategy for each network, and how to send a chain of different emails that naturally suit your subscribers. Newsletters were actually a thing before social media, and they are still a powerful marketing tool.
